The Big Tusk

Shems Bendali : trumpet, percussion – Théo Duboule : guitar – Andrew Audiger : keyboards – Nathan Vandenbulcke : drums
The BIG TUSK is a Franco-Swiss musical collective that stands out for its unique artistic direction, challenging conventions and boundaries between improvised and electronic music. Since 2017, the quartet has been dedicated to improvising the hypnotic and intoxicating atmosphere of a live electro music performance, enhanced by explosive spontaneity and a passion for sound experimentation. The “Tuskist” ideology is rooted in the absence of hierarchical organisation, placing cooperation at the heart of its functioning. What truly sets the BIG TUSK apart is the exceptional osmosis that characterises the relationship between the members of the band. Each concert becomes a unique experience, an emotional journey that transcends the conventional paths of music.
This concert is presented as part of a partnership between AJC and Pro Helvetia, with the aim of promoting Swiss artists in France, and more specifically within the AJC network.
The Antibes Juan-les-Pins Tourist Office is a member of AJC, the network for the promotion of jazz in France and Europe, which works to facilitate the movement of artists and the emergence of new talents. AJC receives support from the Ministry of Culture, the BNP Paribas Foundation, SACEM, ADAMI, SPEDIDAM, SPPF, the CNM and the Institut Français.
