The Jammin’Summer Sessions

jammin'summer-tous l'été, concerts gratuits

From 8th to 18th July and then on 23rd, 24th, 30th & 31st July, 1st and 2nd August.

Sessions always on the theme of discoveries.
With the aim of presenting the new generation of European jazz, Jammin’Summer will present 18 discovery concerts on the usual two stages (Petite Pinède and Place Nationale). These musicians will be coming from mainland France and Reunion Island, from Belgium, Luxemburg, Spain and New-Orleans. One concert will present, as a preview performance, a Franco-Spanish project in association with the Centre National de la Musique and Taller de Músics.
And for the second year, the Albert Camus media library will welcome you with Les Matinales du Festival which will present a band in concert on 9th and 18th July at 11am, followed by an exchange with the musicians.
These young international artists represent all trends of the modern Jazz scene (classic, rock, electronic, vocal…) sometimes dipping briefly into different genres. Most were discovered at Jammin’Juan, the market for jazz professionals (next edition from 6th to 8th November 2024).
