The creative project led by twins Zhihan Xu and Zhitong Xu, with contributions from numerous renowned jazz musicians, fuses different artistic cultures to explore the meaning of life. In the face of absurd realities, their music becomes a way of creating more choices and illuminating the darkness.
Zhitong Xu jazz drummer and composer is known for his exceptional control and emotionally powerful performances that blend traditional and modern jazz elements seamlessly. In addition to his performance and composition, he currently teaches at the Jazz Department of Sichuan Conservatory of Music and at JZ School.
Zhihan Xu composer and guitarist is too JZ Music Artist and teaches at Xinghai Conservatory of Music. He is currently the director, conductor, and composer of the “Zhi Han Xu Jazz Orchestra”.
Zhang Meng, composer and conductor, incorporates influences from traditional Chinese music, western classical music and rock. He is known for his avant-garde compositions and use of the Sheng, a traditional Chinese instrument, and is also active in the field of progressive rock.
