Marco Vezzoso: trumpet and flugelhorn – Alessandro Collina: piano – Dominique Di Piazza: bass – Andrea Marchesini: drums

Travel is a collective of artists from around the world, founded by trumpeter Marco Vezzoso and pianist Alessandro Collina, who compose all the group’s tracks. Their music recreates the atmosphere of the various cities where the two artists have performed in recent years, offering a fresh take on instrumental music, free from stylistic constraints. This captivating music, rich in the colours of distant lands and blending world music with jazz influences, will bring together a wide audience for this concert.

Building on the success of their previous original album, TRAVEL, Vezzoso and Collina decided to continue this momentum by first creating a collective of artists from around the world, and then releasing their second album, NEW WAY.

Green MusicConcert organised in partnership with Green Music: Green Music is a charity based in the Alpes-Maritimes department and a member of COFEE (the collective of eco-responsible festivals in the south of France); its aim is to offer a new way of staging live performances by organising open-air concerts with minimal sound amplification and a very low environmental impact, as they are powered by batteries charged via solar panels. The aim is, on the one hand, to offer the public a truly emotional experience with the chance to enjoy music in unusual natural settings; on the other hand, to raise public awareness of environmental issues and develop a more eco-friendly approach to cultural events. ‘Let’s listen to live music whilst looking after the planet’ is our motto!!
