Aurélien Bellanca is a French drummer and composer based in the South of France, initiated and inspired by a musician father, professional drummer. In a perpetual search for sound, he asserts a very personal musical identity which leads him to create, in 2021, the project Aurélien Bellanca quartet. Influenced by artists like Robert Glaper, Derrick Hodge, Christian Scott, Alfa Mist, Marcus Miller, John Coltrane… his artistic vision leads him to shape a hybrid music mixing jazz, groove and hiphop. Fascinated by this style that shakes the rules of jazz, he is inspired by this very modern approach. In March 2022, he recorded at the Studio and released four singles available on all platforms, Perspective, Float in Space, Little Peanut and Abyss.
