A sound, a band, a universe. In her second album, Jeanne Michard establishes herself as THE French tenor saxophonist to follow. French revelation 2022 from the editorial staff of Jazz Magazine and Jazz News then “Revelation of the Victoires du Jazz 2023”, she continues the flourishing adventure of her Latin quintet, between Paris, New York and Havana, with Julien Lourau as artistic director. It was after her return from a trip to Havana that Jeanne founded the Latin quintet, the band she wanted so much. In 2020, her first title Llolare, festive, percussive and danceable, placed her on the map as a young musician to follow. Around her, a talented band who thrive on friendship, listening and curiosity. You have to see them on stage to realize the positive energy that the band gives off, as well as the resolutely fresh, mixed and modern image that they project.
